The Y-3 is constructed from a stretchy and hard-wearing 3-layer ALP-3 mini ripstop fabric that is waterproof, windproof and ultra-breathable. Large side ventilation zippers allow for quick and easy airflow adjustments when needed. An ergonomic insulation insert at the back of the waistband adds a touch of warmth and extra comfort. Elastic snow gaiters in the leg openings keep snow and wind out. Cordura leg reinforcements enhance the durability and gives extra protection.
