Description

The 2024Never SummerCougaris a new all mountainboard for this season, that takes the shape of the older Hammer and upgrades with the performance oriented Recurve Triple Camber profile. This newdesign runs the Triple Camber alonga classic camber profile,so you get all the pop and power you will need out of turns, with evenstronger edge hold.

With a medium-stiff flex, a touch of taper and powerful profile, the Cougar is a versatile board that willperform no matter where on the mountain you like to ride.

Camber:Recurve Triple Camber

The Recurve Triple Camber is a variation of the Triple Camber profile, but drawn into a overall camber dominant profile.

Flex:7/10 (1=soft, 10=stiff)

A medium to medium-stiff flexing board for all mountain riding. Enjoy a powerful, stable ride, that can still be playful in the park

Shape:Directional

This board has a longer, wider nose combined with a shorter, narrower tail for better float, smoother turns while still letting you ride switch easily.

Core:NS SuperLight Wood

A combination of durable and lightweight woods create an unmatched strength to weight ratio. The worlds best snowboard fibreglass gives Never Summer boards their superior strength, edge hold and durability. Damping along the edges, underfoot and at the tip and tail provide stability at high speeds, and absorb vibrations.

TriaxialFibreglass

Three directions of glass, for plenty of torsional response.

STS Pre-tensioned Fibreglass

Pre-hardened, pre-tensioned laminate that has elastomer stringers – which means that the board has top notch strength, edge hold and performance.

Carbon VXR Laminate

Carbon ‘V’ shapes that extend out from your inserts to the edges of the board, adding torsional strength to the board and giving the board extra energy when loaded up to pop.

RDS 2 Damping

This lightweight damping system utilises three narrow layers that provide an ideal combination of vibration absorption and stability. This system bridges the gap between freestyle and freeride damping.

Elastomeric Underfoot Stabilisers

These stabilisers are placed directly below the mounting area to provide optimum vibration absorption and increase high speed stability while reducing foot fatigue.

Base:Durasurf XT Sintered 5501

Developed exclusively for Never Summers higher end boards, this base is super fast, super durable, and has added carbon to make it the fastest base in the range.

Mounting Pattern:2×4 Inserts

Extra Features:

Co-Extruded Polymer Topsheet –A tough topsheet that’s durable, lightweight, and scratch and chip resistant.

Sintered P-Tex Sidewalls –Unlike conventional ABS sidewalls, sintered P-Tex sidewalls maintain their integrity in colder temperatures and won’t crack.
